  Named after James Logan, the 14th mayor of Philadelphia, James. pays homage to the classic American tavern that was a staple of Colonial life. It was in taverns like James that people like Logan would meet to socialize and make decisions that would shape the young nation.

Today, James. is located in the heart of Philadelphia’s business district. James aims to honor that classic Philadelphia tradition by creating a comfortable-yet-upscale tavern with warm hospitality and a locally-inspired menu.

Whether you’re considering James for a business lunch, dinner, or simply to socialize, their warm ambience and event spaces are perfect.

The entire restaurant can seat up to 75 for a plated dinner, 125 reception-style, including the elevated 'stage' area, the spacious bar and the semi-private lounge, complete with fireplace. This area also features a PA system and 5 TVs for viewing any big game.



The semi-private lounge can seat up to 16 people for a dinner, or 50 people reception-style with the inclusion of the end of the bar area. This space includes a warm and inviting fireplace for cozy dining during cold winter months.



The venue's fully private dining room features a wine vault for intimate dinners. The private dining room itself can seat up to 20 people for a plated dinner and 45 for a reception, while the intimate wine vault can seat 10 for a VIP experience.



The private dining space features a flatscreen TV with HDMI and Mirror capabilities for corporate meetings, presentations or Pharmaceutical dinners. Custom menus and pharmaceutical menus available.
